This video has been sweeping society for the past few days. You may have heard it or you may haven’t. if you haven’t count yourself lucky. This song, on Tuesday March 15 at 1:30 P.M, was at 5 million views. Just 3 hours later, it has hit over 7 MILLION and counting. It got it’s first start on Tosh.0 when he was talking about how some people shouldn’t write songs. This is by far the worst song i have ever heard. This is what music is coming to? M.J is rolling in his grave right now. My opinion is it’s all because of Justin Bieber.

this week i was on Yahoo’s main page and a picture of Lady GaGa came up. at first I was scared cause of her face but that’s a whole different story. I began to read the caption ” Eminem Now Most ‘Liked’…” I read that this week Lady GaGa was passed up on Facebook as the most liked person, now it’s Eminem. We just got done talking about how Facebook is basically taking over the world and this just proved it. If now we are finding storied of people being more popular on a social network instead of Teen magazines we have a problem. Don’t get me wrong i listen to Eminem, but if you have to look on Facebook to see who’s popular in the Hollywood world there’s a problem.
this song by The Flobots means a lot to me. i heard it last year when i first got their album. the lyrics are so powerful, “we should not be moved except by a child with no socks or shoes…” They really talk about the wrongs of how the world reacts or acts. it made me think about what really moves me to do right or what to do when i see something like that. they are very out spoken and i like that in songs. believe it or not, this song helps me when I think about what i want to do as a missionary, granted i don’t believe everything they talk about in their album but they do make a lot of good points.
